| A depth into the world of betrayal 2000-09-26 Truely a good insight into the lives of Modern America. This is the sort of film that you would watch and think to yourself, "That'd never happen to me" but when it comes down to it. That could happen to anyone, that is life and no its not just America. This film shows the life of a cop (Christopher Reed) who's life is changed when he becomes crippled in an accident on the line of duty. How fitting is it that he then plays a character who ends up in a wheelchair. The plot then extends from here as his ...wife (Kim Cattrall) has to deal with this big change in their already strained relationship. Throw in the brother of Reed's character and a few cops and what do you have? you have an interesting plot which thickens and thickens and has one of the biggest plot twists EVER! And that is understatement. Originally I only bought this film to see the divine Kim Cattrall but then I realised that I had hold of an absolute beauty of a film. i don't wanna give too much away and spoil the film but you wont be dissapointed. It has a solid and good cast who play their characters well and you'll be drawn into the despair of the characters as the good guys become the bad guys and vice versa. Reserve judgment on the characters cos your opinion will change later and maybe back again. Only in America? Maybe but then you never know in the modern world.  By |
